Humaira Ahmed is the Founder and CEO of Locelle – an enterprise social platform to connect and engage women in the workplace for support and mentorship with the goal of retention of top female talent.

As a Pakistani born Canadian entrepreneur, Humaira is passionate about diversity in traditionally male-dominated industries. Being a woman of colour, immigrant, and having a background in Software Engineering, Humaira is on a mission to inspire and influence women to pursue their ambitions and navigate barriers.

Humaira started her tech Startup journey with Locelle in early 2018 with an idea – it was to tackle social isolation amongst women working in male-dominated industries and women entrepreneurs to create a sense of belonging. Now, the company not only has thousands of members but is also working with a handful of Fortune 500 companies to help connect and engage women staff for higher productivity and retention.
