Greg Spievak, Founder & CEO
Greg Spievak is the founder and principal of Reboot Communications, a firm that specializes in creating and delivering conferences worldwide. For the last fifteen years, Mr. Spievak has produced conferences with government agencies and international corporations in the areas of: Information Technology, Privacy and Security, Biometrics, Digital Media, Health, Green Technology, Counterterrorism and Public Safety.
For over twenty-five years, Mr. Spievak served in senior sales and marketing positions in the high-technology and telecommunications industries with companies such as AT&T, NCR, Xerox and 3M.

Angela Gatari, Director, Communications and Event Management
Angela oversees day to day operations including human resources, strategic planning, conference development, budgeting, marketing, media and communications for Reboot. Former Event Manager at the Victoria Conference Centre, Angela has organised and managed all types of events, from large international conferences to trade shows and special events. Prior to working for the Conference Centre, Angela worked overseas in Japan for 10+ years in the fields of public and international relations.
Angela has a BA in Mass Communications from Carleton University and an MA in Applied Communications from Royal Roads University.
Christine Barry, Director, Finance and Administration
As part of a high performance team, Christine is Reboot Communication’s Director of Finance and Administration delivering logistical, financial, planning, and organizational services to Reboot’s sponsors, speakers, advisory committees and event partners. Prior to joining the Reboot team Christine worked in the e-learning and accounting industries but always had an underlying love for event planning. Additionally, Christine holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria.
Nicole Emmett, Director, Business Development
As part of the Reboot team, Nicole coordinates sponsorship activities, researches new sales opportunities, and is the voice behind the company’s social media. Prior to working with Reboot, Nicole was involved with helping an Ontario retailer establish their social media presence and was the initial voice behind the company’s blog. Her creativity and organizational skills have also led her to work on large-scale event coordination, public relations and design projects in the past. Additionally, Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Queen’s University.
Francis A. Wong, Special Counsel
Francis A. Wong is founder and chairman of Genesis Hotel Development, LLC, an international hotel development company. He has had a distinguished career in politics, law and development having been a member of the staff of U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy and served as a Hawaii State Senator for 12 years. He was named in the first edition of Best Lawyers in America and has co-owned and developed some of Hawaii’s finest hotels, including the Maui Marriott Resort and the Fairmont Kea Lani on Maui.
His recent projects include a hotel in La Quinta, CA and a luxury residential project at Kadenwood in Whistler, B.C. He is a member of the board of Allied Hotel Properties Ltd., a Canadian public company, and the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, one of the largest private nonprofit foundations in California.

Kathrin Smith, Senior Graphic Designer
Kathrin oversees the corporate image and branding of Reboot Communications and is responsible for creating the overall identity of each conference. This includes conference graphics, logos, brochures, programs, signage, PowerPoint presentations, web and email communications, and sponsorship packages. Kathrin has worked internationally for full service advertising agencies and continues to gain her experience through working as a contract senior designer for high-end advertising and public relations companies. Additionally, Kathrin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Graphic Design from Germany and has accomplished several design awards within Canada.
Greg Teckles, Commercial Photographer
Greg is a well known photojournalist and commercial photographer. A graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in Toronto, his career of 25 years has given him an invaluable depth of experience. During his seven years as a photojournalist for the Ottawa Citizen, then Toronto Star, Greg has covered State Visits of world leaders such as President Reagan, President Bush Sr., Prime Minister Thatcher, President Gorbechev, King Hussein of Jordan, and the Queen. In addition, Greg has been assigned to the major Constitutional events of both the Mulroney and Trudeau administrations. Greg has recently covered the visits of President George Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and in Washington on assignment with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
Greg’s Public Relations and commercial clients are diverse including Bell Canada, CBC, Gillette, Proctor & Gamble, Canada Post, Nortel Networks, Loblaws Canada, Tourism Ontario, Cdn. Red Blood Services and various other National organizations located in the National Capital Region.
Greg is registered and on the sourcing list with Department of Supply and Services, Imaging and Photo Services, formerly the Government Photo Centre which contracts services for every major department within the Federal Government.
