Tim Swanson

Tim began his career in technology in 1985, primarily in utilities and large industry. Tim was the senior technology leader for the utility that is now FortisBC from 2000 until 2019. In 2019 Tim took on the role of Director, Corporate Security & Business Continuity at FortisBC. Tim is a current member and former chair of the Western Energy Institute CIO committee, current member of the Canadian Gas Association Security Strategic Steering Committee, current member of the Canadian Electric Association Security Infrastructure Protection Committee, and a former member and chair of the Canadian Electric Association Technology Committee.
