Tara Cowling
President and Managing Principal, Medlior Health Outcomes Research
Tara founded Medlior Health Outcomes Research Ltd. in 2008 with a vision for pioneering the future of healthcare with data driven solutions.
Tara has over 20 years of health outcomes research experience in both public sector and industry. Prior roles include five years with Alberta Health Services as the Lead of Clinical Data Services, and five years in Market Access roles for AstraZeneca and IQVIA in the UK. In addition, Tara gained experience as a Research Fellow at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in London, UK.
Tara obtained her MSc from McMaster University in the Faculty of Medicine and her BA/MA in Physiological Sciences from Balliol College at The University of Oxford.
Tara is proud member of the Women’s President’s Organization (WPO), Healthcare Businesswomen’s Organization (HBA), and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes research (ISPOR).
Medlior is proud to be certified as a Women-Owned Business by WeConnect International, and Rainbow Registered as an LGBTQ+ inclusive business by the Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce.
