Steven Richardson
PhD Candidate, Queen’s University
Previously a Senior Research Analyst for an international consulting firm specializing in ICT and Telecommunication Policy, Steven is now working on advancing innovative approaches to design as he completes his PhD at Queen’s University. His SSHRC funded research focuses on the development and adoption of emerging technologies such as wearables — particularly, the push and pull of users’ own contributions to the design and development of these technologies. He is currently the Co-Lead Investigator on a Contributions Grant for the Canadian Office of the Privacy Commissioner examining the privacy implications of wearables in the workplace.
