Stephen Goldsmith
VP, Business Development, Petal Health
After earning his M.B.A. from Queen’s University, Stephen worked at Procter & Gamble and then at internet consulting firm, Cyberplex, where he worked with clients such as Sony, Chrysler, and Sprint to develop their internet strategies. He then founded and ran AllStarLineup for 12 years working with athletes and entertainers such as Magic Johnson, Pedro Martinez and Pamela Anderson, managing their promotional and business opportunities.
Stephen began work in the healthcare industry as Managing Director of the Mount Sinai Fertility Clinic in 2011, and in 2014 became the Director of Business Development at Mount Sinai Hospital. In 2016 he was named VP of Business Innovation & Development for the Sinai Health System, where he led all profit-generating businesses until 2021.
Stephen returned to the private sector in 2021 targeting two significant areas of interest and growth in global healthcare – he founded Paxana Med, a company focused on the use of psychedelics to treat Traumatic Brain Injuries, and joined Petal Health as VP, Business Development where he is responsible for the company’s growth in Canada and the US.
