Sharlene Tan recently finished her Computer Information Technology (CIT) Diploma from BCIT. Her current role as Pagefreezer’s Information Security Coordinator ties in suitably with her pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Technology for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. She is also a member of the ISACA Vancouver Chapter, where she is able to network and get mentored by seasoned cybersecurity professionals. As a recent graduate with only a couple years of experience in the tech field, Sharlene is eager to provide any guidance and help to students and newcomers into the cybersecurity field. With first-hand experience in the struggles of looking for that first job, she understands that getting your foot in the door can be the hardest part. In her spare time, you can find Sharlene walking her chihuahua and watching sitcoms.
