Rob Antonishen joined BC Hydro in 2021 as the Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance. He is accountable for ensuring BC Hydro’s cyber resilience across the enterprise including its critical infrastructure, as well as compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation cybersecurity standards to protect the Bulk Electric System.
Having over 35 years of electricity utility experience, Rob has held numerous leadership roles in engineering, security and reliability compliance with a specific focus on working to integrate cybersecurity functions across the Information Technology and Operational Technology domains.
Rob has a Bachelor of Applied Science in electrical engineering from Queen’s University and is a registered Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
