Rebecca Ma is Head, Deputy General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Interac Corp. In her role, Rebecca oversees Enterprise and Participant Compliance, Participant Affairs & Regulations, and Privacy. Rebecca has over 15 years of experience in the technology and financial services industry, specializing in compliance, privacy, legal, and risk management.
Rebecca has built and managed privacy programs and routinely advises on various corporate law matters including leading M&A transactions, deal structuring, and post-acquisition integrations.
Rebecca obtained her law degree from Western University and has an HBA from the
Richard Ivey School of Business. She is admitted to the Ontario and New York State bars and previously practiced corporate, banking, and securities law at Baker & McKenzie LLP and Wildeboer Dellelce LLP.
