Michel is an Executive with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat Chief Information Officer Branch. With over two decades of experience in Private and Public sector information systems (IS), he now leads highly transformative enterprise initiatives for the Government of Canada, including the Digital Office of the Future. Michel is known for challenging the norm and actively engaging stakeholders in change initiatives. Prior to joining the Treasury Board Secretariat, Michel was the elected President of the Heads of IT community of practice representing the IM an IT interests of over forty small federal departments and agencies (SDA). He was also an Executive with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and led the application architecture practice at the Canadian International Development Agency.
