Michael Cavallin is currently a co-op student at Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice based in Victoria, BC. As a fourth year UVIC engineering student very close to graduation, he represents the newest generation entering the Cyber Security industry. At Deloitte, he works on vulnerability assessments and identity and access management. His personal “White Hat” cyber security work has discovered and reported multiple security vulnerabilities involving the Department of Homeland Security’s Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team, Industrial Control System vendors, Defence Research and Development Canada and university systems.
