Matt Reed is the Executive Director, Privacy, Compliance and Training for the Province of BC Government’s Ministry of Citizens’ Services. After writing his Master’s thesis on social media advertising, privacy and choice, he began working for the branch, where he has been for the past ten years. During this tenure Matt has managed the privacy implications of many cross-government initiatives, including: cloud, social media, the mobile worker and open data strategies.
