Kyle Melnychyn

Energy & Utilities Sector Lead, National Critical Infrastructure Team, Federal Policing National Security—RCMP-GRC

Kyle Melnychyn has been a Civilian Member of the RCMP since 2010. His educational background includes graduate studies in anti-terrorism law and psychosocial research on criminal behaviour. In his current role he supports RCMP investigations by assessing intelligence with a potential nexus to criminal threats to critical infrastructure within the energy and utilities sector. He is also responsible for developing and managing the partnerships and flow of information between Government of Canada agencies, police services of local jurisdiction, and private corporate security within the oil and gas, nuclear, mining, renewable energy, pipeline and electricity industries.
