Constable is a global security expert, local business and start-up consultant, and international technical advisor in privacy law.
Constable was born in Ontario, and has lived in Victoria and Vancouver for the last 10 years. After working at the highest level in IT Security at Nortel from 1999-2005, in 2007, Constable began consulting as a technical advisor to the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), as well as to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of BC (OIPC).
Constable became one of the first International Trainers for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in 2011. Currently, Constable is the Senior Advisor at PrivaSecTech, a consulting firm specialized in the areas of privacy law, and data security training, testing, and compliance. PrivaSecTech has been ranked by the British Columbia Innovation Council and Techvibes as one of the top 20 startups in Victoria.
