Kirk LaPointe is Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of BIV, the Vancouver-based business publication and website, and Vice-President, Editorial, of parent company Glacier Media, western Canada’s largest media company. He is an Adjunct Professor teaching Ethics and Leadership at the UBC Graduate School of Journalism, Writing and Media. He has led such organizations as CTV News, Southam News and The Hamilton Spectator. He is the founding Executive Editor of National Post, a founding Host on CBC Newsworld, a former CBC Ombudsman, Managing Editor of the Vancouver Sun, and Ottawa Bureau Chief and General News Editor of The Canadian Press. He has been a radio host, a podcast host, and a television host.
