She first made her mark in the oil and gas industry by producing technical events and training programs for national and international operators, chairing alongside senior executives and ministers, and leading think tanks focused on innovation and high-performance. Kelly played a pivotal role in the upgrading and laying of Egypt’s first 25 km of pipeline, serving on the task force that brought Canadian pipeline technology Shawcor to Egypt in collaboration with TransGlobe Energy and Egypt Energy—an achievement still referenced as a benchmark project in the region.
During the pandemic, Kelly co-created the first gig-economy platform for oil and gas professionals, assembling an international mastermind of energy experts to reshape how specialized talent is deployed worldwide. Her passion for developing young engineers has been a constant throughout her career, with many of her mentees now holding senior executive and even ministerial positions—an enduring legacy of her commitment to building the next generation of energy leaders.
