Director, Privacy Education and Policy in the newly created Privacy Enforcement and Protection Unit in the California Department of Justice. The Unit protects Californians’ constitutionally guaranteed right to privacy through civil enforcement of state and federal privacy laws, educates consumers and businesses, and makes recommendations to the Attorney General on privacy matters. She was the former Chief of the Office of Privacy Protection in the California Department of Consumer Affairs where she provided consumer education and practice recommendations on privacy issues to California state residents, businesses, and government.
