Jeannine Adams

Founder and CEO, Centurion Cyber Defence and ReTrain Canada

Having held leadership roles in some of Canada’s largest organizations where technology is the foundation of business, Jeannine understands the impact of rapidly changing technology and its effect on the careers and lives of people. In 2015, Jeannine started a software company which produced The Knowledge Bank, a career software suite that helps people understand how their transferable skills match new and emerging roles. Building on her experience with The Knowledge Bank, Jeannine founded ReTrain Canada in 2017. Her vision is that all Canadians have affordable access to the skills necessary for our collective digital transformation. For these reasons she is committed to the reskilling and upskilling of all Canadians.

Centurion Cyber Defence is the professional services division of the ReTrain cybersecurity program. Centurion provides (SOC) Security Operations Center services along with traditional cyber services to small- and medium-sized companies. Using a holistic approach to cybersecurity, Centurion goes beyond strictly IT cyber solutions and engages businesses at the operational and human levels to ensure that all areas of a business and its people are educated and protected.

Jeannine is a native Albertan who grew up on a farm in Southern Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.Sc. in Neuropsychology and has built her career at the intersection of humanity meets technology.
