Gerry Bliss provides privacy advisory and mentoring services to a spectrum of organizations. He has set and lead the privacy agenda in provincial and national eHealth projects and applied privacy, security, and information governance expertise to the risk management needs of large organizations in Canada and the US. Past CISO of the Calgary Health Region, co-author of the original “Guidelines for the Protection of Health Information” he is a past president of ISACA Victoria, teaches at UVic, and is currently leading the development and deployment of web based SCORM compliant privacy and security education.
