Senior Security Analyst for Vulnerability and Risk Management, Province of BC
As a Senior Security Analyst for Vulnerability and Risk Management, Gary is responsible for facilitating a government-wide information security vulnerability and risk management program. His primary role is to proactively identify, analyze, and report on security vulnerabilities to enable government to proactively mitigate known risks before vulnerabilities can be exploited. His responsibilities also include assessing government’s overall compliance to the Information Security Policy with the Annual Information Security Review. Previously Gary worked for the Department of National Defence as a Senior Intelligence Analyst where he led efforts to enhance national security with a strong working knowledge of encryption, network and security operations, security incident response, as well as classified network architecture and design.
