Francis A. Wong is founder and chairman of Genesis Hotel Development, LLC, an international hotel development company. He has had a distinguished career in politics, law and development having been a member of the staff of U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy and served as a Hawaii State Senator for 12 years. He was named in the first edition of Best Lawyers in America and has co-owned and developed some of Hawaii’s finest hotels, including the Maui Marriott Resort and the Fairmont Kea Lani on Maui. His recent projects include a hotel in La Quinta, CA and a luxury residential project at Kadenwood in Whistler, B.C. He is a member of the board of Allied Hotel Properties Ltd., a Canadian public company, and the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, one of the largest private nonprofit foundations in California.
