Dr. Teresa Hardisty – HCS25
Lifestyle Medicine Physician, Sharp Healthcare; Pediatrician
Teresa Hardisty graduated with high honors from University of California San Diego Medical School where she also completed her pediatric residency and chief residency. A third-generation woman physician, she has been practicing primary prevention at Sharp Rees Stealy Medical Group in general pediatrics for 39 years and became board certified in lifestyle medicine six years ago.
Dr Hardisty is passionate about using the body’s inner wisdom to heal and thrive as a physician educator, lifestyle medicine consultant, and wellbeing champion at Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, California. Representing Sharp HealthCare, she is a founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Health Systems Council and currently is developing a lifestyle medicine program for an inpatient addiction hospital as part of her work with the ACLM Innovators Council.
Dr. Hardisty is a co-author of the book How Healers Heal. She is also Affiliated Faculty at Point Loma Nazarene University and the mother of 4 amazing children.
