Dr. Ruslan Dorfman is a molecular geneticist with experience in pharmacogenetics, genetics of chronic pain and rare diseases. Dr. Dorfman is a co-founder and Chief Science Officer at GeneYouIn Inc. GeneYouIn provides pharmacogenetics-based medication services to national insurance and disability providers. Dr. Dorfman is co-authored over thirty-six peer-reviewed publications on the genetics of Cystic Fibrosis, disease-modifying genes, pain genetics and pharmacogenetic strategy. For his work, Dr. Dorfman was awarded numerous prestigious scholarships, including the Florence and Theodore Baumritter Ph.D. Scholarship, the CIHR postdoctoral award, and the “Science to Business” CIHR scholarship. Dr. Dorfman is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Anesthesia at McMaster University.
