David Vigneault is the Managing Director of the Global Intelligence Unit for Strider Technologies. David supports engagement with private and public sector organizations as well as advance R&D efforts within the intelligence team.
Prior to joining Strider, David was the ninth Director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), which is responsible for gathering, processing, and analyzing national security information from around the world.
During his 7-year tenure, David was the leading voice in Canada highlighting the growing threat of Chinese and Russian espionage campaigns including efforts to target the nation’s biopharmaceutical, health, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, ocean technology, and aerospace sectors.
Previously, David served as Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Security and Intelligence, Privy Council Office; Associate Vice-President of Program Operations for the Canada Border Services Agency; Director of Transnational Security at the Communications Security Establishment; and the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Minister at the Department of National Defence.
