Colin Gabelmann

former Attorney General of B.C.

Colin Gabelmann served as MLA for North Vancouver-Seymour in 1972-75, and also for North Vancouver Island from 1979 to 1996. He is perhaps best known for his work as B.C.’s Attorney General under Premier Mike Harcourt. Colin was instrumental in the drafting and passage of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and was the Minister responsible for its introduction into the Legislature. Colin currently lives in Campbell River with his wife, Robin Geary.
