Andrew Drummond is Director of Health Policy at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. Prior to joining the IPC in 2022, Andrew was Manager and, earlier, Senior Health Information Management Policy Advisor at the Information Management Strategy and Policy Branch of Ontario’s Ministry of Health, where he worked extensively on the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and its regulations. He has also held numerous administrative positions at the University of Toronto and the University of Alberta over the course of his career. Andrew holds a BA (Hons) and an MA from the University of Alberta, and currently lives in Toronto, Ontario.
