Alexis Kerr

Alexis Kerr joined the Fraser Health Authority Legal Department in 2007 and has been the Director, Legal Services and General Counsel since 2012. Prior to joining Fraser Health, she practiced commercial litigation and privacy law at a large, multi-national law firm in both Toronto and Vancouver, notably serving as counsel to CPR in Eastmond v. Canadian Pacific Railway, 2004 FC 852. Alexis holds Bachelor of Journalism and Juris Doctor degrees from Carleton University and the University of Toronto respectively. She has also been accredited as a Certified Information Privacy Professional – Canada (CIPP-C) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, of which she is a longtime member. She is a current executive member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) National Privacy and Access Law Section, and a current executive member and past co-chair of the CBA BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Section.
