Kim Wieringa has led the Health Information Systems Division as an Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Information Officer for Alberta Health for the last 6 years. This is Kim’s second term in Health having previously spent 9 years in two other divisions. Kim has also held positions in 2 other ministries, and in the municipal and banking environments.
As an executive leader overseeing a diverse portfolio, Kim’s strengths include leading teams though change, policy and program design, strategy development, garnering information technology, project management, and complex stakeholder relations.
