Lisa Deveau was a former constable with the Ottawa Police Service. She has graduated with a Masters of Social Work and will be pursuing her PhD in the fall. Lisa has dedicated her research to mental health, de-escalation, and crisis intervention training for officers. She advocates for those who are marginalized and encourages others to incorporate an intersectional lens while recognizing the various systems of oppression.
