Nicki Casseres is a mental health care specialist, and Senior Manager of Training & Education at the Gerstein Crisis Centre in Toronto. Nicki has over the years developed programs that put police together with Community Support workers and is currently directing a new Community Crisis response training program for the City of Toronto that will seek to better support community health, wellness, and safety by introducing an alternative model of crisis response that is community-led, person-centred, trauma-informed and focused on harm reduction.
