Kyle Loree
Director, Business Systems and Solutions, Consumer Protection BC
Kyle Loree is the Director, Business Systems and Solutions at Consumer Protection BC where he guides his team in redesigning processes, project management and developing technology strategies. His career has taken him around the world and earned him both NATO and Canadian Peacekeeper medals. He is passionate about learning and encourages others to pursue training and certifications. He has earned the PMP designation and CCNP, MCP, GSEC, CCNA Voice certifications, and holds a Master of Science in Information Systems.
Kyle’s volunteer pursuits reflect his commitment to giving back. He sits on the board of the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS) BC society and the National board. The organization is responsible for international accreditation of computer science programs in Canada under the Seoul Accord and represents IT professionalism and ethics. Locally, he is a member of the Advisory Cabinet for Our Place Society which provides to those less-fortunate in Victoria. Previously, Kyle has volunteered with Serve Our City and been involved in organizing campaigns for the United Way.
He moved to Victoria with his lovely wife in 2011 and now have two fantastic children that keep them quite busy. They are always exploring the beautiful Vancouver Island. Kyle bikes to the office and is hiking or camping as often as possible. In his time away from the office he is with his young family, learning, or tinkering with a new project. His passions range from technology to business to cooking.
