Pam Simpson is an AI Business Information Security Officer at TD, responsible for implementing security governance for generative AI-based initiatives and participating in multiple industry working groups looking to the impact of AI on the financial industry. In her previous roles at TD, she worked within the Fusion Incident Management Team contributing to insider investigations and process creation, and within Threat Intelligence managing strategic planning for threat intelligence collection and threat modelling. Prior to joining TD, Pam worked with BMO as Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, focusing on strategic reporting of state-sponsored cyber threats and ransomware. She is the Engagements Lead on the Platforms and Technology Indigenous Peoples Committee helping facilitate partnerships with Indigenous led organizations within the technology space. Pam holds her CISSP designation, a GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence Certification from SANS, a Security + Certification from CompTIA and helps mentor individuals towards developing a career in cyber threat intelligence.
