With over 25 years of experience as an IT security professional, Jo-Ann has held senior security positions with notable brands such as Best Buy and Vancity. During that time, she has distinguished herself as one of the industry’s leading experts in assessing the ever-changing threat landscape to identify and develop effective responses to protect an organization’s information assets.
Technically strong and strategically experienced, as Long View’s CISO, Jo-Ann brings a level of expertise to one of the most demanding positions within a modern, digital enterprise.
She continues to develop and execute on proactive cybersecurity and privacy programs. She focuses on achieving a balance between effectively addressing potential threats while simultaneously enabling strategic and tactical business objectives.
Currently living in BC’s Okanagan, Jo-Ann and her husband David have four children and has recently undertaken a major project to renovate their old house with plans to dabble in grape growing and winemaking in the far-off future as they restore the property.
