Tijana Fazlagic

Dr. Tijana Fazlagic is the Executive Director of Therapeutic Assessment & Access, part of the Pharmaceutical, Laboratory & Blood Services Division at the British Columbia Ministry of Health. Tijana is a pharmacist with a Bachelor of Science degrees in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida. Tijana also completed a Master of Science degree at the University of Saskatchewan with focus on chemo-botanical profiling of medicinal marihuana and a Graduate Certificate in Health Systems Leadership at the Royal Roads University. Prior to joining the Ministry of Health, Tijana worked as a community pharmacist which included provision of care to long-term care facilities. Tijana joined the Ministry in 2006 and her current responsibilities include leadership of the formulary management, specialty medicines, precision medicine and genetic services and the business team. Tijana represents BC on various provincial and national committees.
