Sue assumed the role of President and CEO at Equifax Canada in November 2020, spearheading the company’s transition to a fully cloud-based data, insights, and technology enterprise. With over 30 years of experience in Financial Services, FinTech and Payments, Sue is renowned for her customer-centric approach, fostering innovation, and driving tangible results. Her leadership has propelled Equifax Canada to the forefront of the industry, establishing it as a market leader, delivering critical data to government, Canadian business and consumers. Sue’s commitment to cultivating diverse talent has been instrumental in assembling high-performing teams throughout her career.
Prior to her tenure at Equifax, Sue held key executive positions at global
organizations such as Mastercard, Payments Canada, D+H Corporate (now
Finastra), HSBC, and Bank of America. She has also contributed her expertise to various boards, including Home Capital Group where Sue was also Chair of the Technology Transformation Committee, Women in Payments, Payments Canada, BC Women’s Hospital Foundation, and the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Sue earned her MBA from the Schulich School of Business and holds the ICD.D designation, underscoring her commitment to excellence in corporate governance.
