In 1993, Steve achieved his Ph.D. at the University of California at Davis in engineering. After spending half a decade leveraging computer simulations to analyze dynamic systems, he decided to move into information security, where he honed his expertise with European security firm, F-Secure, during the viral epidemics that took place in the 1999-2000 Internet boom. Now, thirteen years later, Steve is with Adobe Systems Incorporated, where he is responsible for Adobe Acrobat Solutions Security, spanning both software and services. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional having direct experience with security in massively distributed application and cloud environments.
