Ross Davidson

President, HP Advanced Solutions, VP, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Ross Davidson is the Vice President and General Manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) public sector services in British Columbia (BC). In this role, he is responsible for the operations, implementation, and growth of business in BC. Additionally, he serves as the President of HP Advanced Solutions, a subsidiary of HPE, which serves as a unionized service delivery channel to deliver information technology services in a professional and labour-friendly environment.

With more than 20 years of IT services and consulting experience, Davidson is able to quickly understand business and functional requirements and apply supporting technology in the most cost effective and technically sound manner. 

Davidson is focused on delivering superior value to his clients via a broad portfolio of information technology, applications, and business process outsourcing services to the public sector. He joined the HPE BC team in 2015 and he currently manages more than a billion dollars in government contracts. HP Advanced Solutions is the largest provider of services to the Government of British Columbia.

Davidson joined HP Canada in 2011 as the Client Director for the CIBC Account. In this role, he owned relationship management as well as the innovation and growth agenda for HPE’s largest Canadian client. 

Prior to joining HPE, Davidson held various leadership positions with IBM. From 1996-2008, he was the owner and principle at Davidson Sykes & Associates, a boutique IT consulting firm focused on the financial IT sector. He sold the firm in 2008.

Davidson holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor of arts in Economics and Science from York University. 

Ross and his spouse Jen, live in Victoria, BC with their three daughters.
