He is Executive Consultant for IBM Canada’s Security Services Practice and IBM North America Healthcare Security Leader. Paul has completed projects in many sectors with very strong experience in Healthcare. Areas of technical expertise include privacy assessment/audit, threat/risk assessment, security and privacy management, compliance, project management, realizing the benefits of new technology initiatives and, use of data protection technologies.
Paul is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP), certified information privacy professional (Canadian body of knowledge – CIPP/C and IT body of knowledge CIPT), a BSi trained ISO17799/27002/27799 implementer and ISO27002 lead auditor. Paul is an Canadian advisory board member for the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
