Nick Grant
Acting Assistant Deputy Minister, Health Sector Planning and Innovation Division, Ministry of Health, Province of British Columbia
Nick Grant was appointed acting Assistant Deputy Minister of the Health Sector Planning and Innovation Division in May 2014. In this role Nick is responsible articulating and leading the implementation of government’s strategic direction for the health sector as detailed in the Ministry’s Setting Priorities for the B.C. Health System document. He is responsible for leading the Ministry’s strategic management, business intelligence, data and analytic, research, legislation and intergovernmental relations functions.
Nick holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Victoria and has worked in the B.C. public service for over 20 years. Prior to this appointment, Nick held leadership positions at the Ministry of Health in Management Information and Strategic Planning.
