Michael Foltinek
Security Analyst, Information Security Branch, Ministry of Citizens’ Services, Province of BC
Educated in Linguistics, trained in programming, and self-taught in Linux administration, Michael has over 20 years of IT experience, mostly in Information Security in the BC Government. After many years in forensics and network security, he brought his broad experience to Advisory Services, currently as a Service Manager. Michael is passionate about the human side of security, from the citizens whose information we protect, to the colleagues and end users who need to consider information security and privacy in their day-to-day work.
