Mark Diner
Chief Advisor, Open Government and Transparency, Service Alberta
Mark Diner was appointed as Chief Advisor, Open Government for the Government of Alberta in November of 2012. In his role as Chief Advisor, Mark provides vision and leadership over the Government of Alberta transformation to be a more open and accountable government. Mark has been engaged as a public servant since 1999 in evolving positions of responsibility including as a Strategic IMT Planner with the Minister of Government Services, Director of Architecture, Alberta Health and Wellness, leading the design of the Electronic Health Record, Director of Information Management with the Minister of Justice and lastly as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the Ministry of Tourism, Parks and Recreation.
