Dr. Jeremy Johnson
Data Engineer, Ginger.io
Dr. Jeremy Johnson currently leads all data engineering efforts at Ginger.io. He is responsible building the company’s core backend infrastructure and directing development operations (DevOps). Jeremy is also Ginger.io’s HIPAA Security Officer, leading development of company security policies, procedures, and training. Prior to joining Ginger.io, Jeremy led early-stage medical device development at Medtronic, and served as Director of Engineering at EHR provider Healthonomy. Jeremy holds MS and PhD degrees from Stanford University, where he studied Electrical Engineering. Shortly after receiving his PhD, Jeremy was a Biodesign Innovation Fellow at Stanford University Medical School. He is enjoying his new role as a father in Belmont, CA where he lives with his wife and their year-old twins.
