Jamie Graham

Chief Constable, Victoria Police Department

Jamie Graham was appointed Chief Constable of the Victoria Police Department in 2008, having previously served as the Chief Constable of the Vancouver Police Department from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, he served just under 35 years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, holding a number of command, investigative and executive positions in British Columbia and Alberta. Chief Graham is an active member of local, Provincial, National and International Associations of Police Chiefs. He is President of the B.C. Association of Municipal Police Chiefs, a Director-at-Large of the British Columbia Association of Chiefs of Police and chairs its Traffic Safety Committee and Ethics & Integrity Committee. He is also a member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Traffic and Ethics Committees. He is a Director on the provincial Board of the B.C. Schizophrenia Society and a member of the Advisory Board of Victoria’s Salvation Army branch.
