Ella is Director of Care Continuum and Actuarial Analytics for Vancouver Coastal Health and was recently the Director of Risk and Actuarial Analytics for the British Columbia Ministry of Health, a $16 B comprehensive public health insurer She brings proven experience implementing solutions to strategic issues with process and statistical expertise to help those directly engaged in providing health services use and execute on analytics. She has over fifteen years of relevant experience across several jurisdictions and industries including healthcare, insurance and energy She has co-published many articles in a variety of peer-reviewed journals including Health Affairs and Interfaces, has presented at many conferences, and served on many boards and committees Ella’s credentials include a B.Comm. (Hons) in Actuarial Science and Finance, an M.H.A from the University of British Columbia (UBC), and Certifications in Risk Management and as both an American and Canadian Health Executive.
