Dr. Greg Massey is currently a Senior Analytical Consultant on the Health and Life Sciences Research and Development team at SAS. For the past two years his primary focus has been contextual extraction of key data elements from unstructured medical records. He is also a veterinarian, a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners specializing in avian medicine, and holds a master’s degree in advanced analytics. Before joining SAS Greg taught at both the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and served as the endangered species veterinarian in the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources.
