Dr. Graham Hughes is the Chief Medical Officer within SAS Institute’s Center for Health Analytics & Insights. He is responsible for identifying and developing opportunities to create novel analytics solutions that help healthcare organizations improve care quality, clinical operations and patient outcomes. He has over 20 years’ experience developing and delivering innovative healthcare IT products and services and has a deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, both in the US and internationally. Immediately prior to joining SAS in June 2011, he spent 6 years working as VP of Product Strategy and Chief Medical Informatics Officer at GE Healthcare IT, leading a customer facing advanced technologies innovation team as well as spearheading the annual strategic planning process for GEHCIT’s enterprise portfolio of products.
