Dr. Gary Pansegrau
Senior Executive Director, Clinical Programs and Policy, BC Cancer
Dr. Gary Pansegrau, is the Senior Executive Director Clinical Programs and Policy at BC Cancer accountable for the operations, resources and performance management all of the Provincial Clinical Programs and Tumour Groups and provides provincial leadership and direction in establishing organizational strategy and policy. He is a Medical Oncologist specializing in breast cancer and has been with BC Cancer since 2004 after completing his medical school training in Toronto, and his internal medicine and medical oncology training at UBC. He has held several leadership roles throughout his career including Executive Medical Director at Vancouver Centre, and prior to relocating his clinical practice to Vancouver in the fall of 2018, he was the first Regional Medical Director at BC Cancer Surrey Centre. He was also the Chair of the Priority and Evaluation Committee (PEC) for BC Cancer from 2013 – 2020.
