Dr. Fiona Duncan
Physician Lead, Vancouver Division of Family Practice; Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Family Practice, UBC
Dr Fiona Duncan is a family physician at Chaldecott Medical Clinic in Vancouver, where she has practiced since 2002. Graduating with a BA and an MD from UBC, she moved east to Thunder Bay for residency in McMaster’s Rural Family Medicine Program, returning home to Vancouver in 2001.
In addition to her own private practice, Dr. Duncan is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UBC Department of Family Practice and spent 10 years working with Vancouver Coastal Health on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, providing primary care, addictions and hepatitis C treatment. Since 2013, she has been involved in physician leadership and systems change, initially as a board member of the Vancouver Division of Family Practice, then as a member of the General Practice Services Committee, and currently as the Physician Lead for the Vancouver Division of Family Practice.
