Debra Mackinnon is a PhD Candidate Queen’s University. Her current SSHRC funded research investigates the adoption, mobility and legitimization of public-private surveillance networks and the creation of data collection policies. She is currently the Co-Lead Investigator on a Contributions Grant for the Canadian Office of the Privacy Commissioner examining the privacy implications of wearables in the workplace.
