Colin Hansen
Former Cabinet Minister, Province of British Columbia
Colin Hansen is the Chair of the Corporate Advisory Board of Retirement Concepts.
During the 17 years he served as a member of the BC Legislature, he held the posts of Deputy Premier, Minister of Finance, Minister of Health, Minister of Economic Development and Minister Responsible for the 2010 Olympics.
He serves on the boards of two not for profit organizations: Arthritis Research Centre of Canada as a board member and the Fraser Basin Council as the Chair.
As of July 1, 2014, he will assume the position of President and CEO of AdvantageBC, a private-sector organization dedicated to promoting BC as a centre for international business.
Before politics, Colin was President and Founding Partner of Image Group, which his wife, Laura, has subsequently built into BC’s largest supplier of promotional products. Prior to that, he was the Vice-President, Finance and Administration for the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada.
